In order to showcase the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT) platform, this article builds an air quality measuring device, gathers and analyzes data in real-time, and then displays the results in a web application. An ESP8266 microprocessor powers the device's microcontroller board, the Wemos D1 Mini.
